As this was the first time HEDE project has been presented at the home institution, the public was first informed about the main topics, goals and activities of the project, partner institutions and supporters, as well as team members and collaborators. Furthermore, the key results of the project derived from project activities (The digital environment of higher education for journalists in Europe; Online study programmes that educate journalists in Croatia – a need/an opportunity?; Digital collection of literature on education for journalists; Film and higher education for journalists) were explained.

At this point, central results can be summarized as follows:

• HEJDE project and its particular activities were presented at 3 international conferences in 2021 and 2022
• 2 scientific articles were published
• book about journalism education in Croatian is in preparation
• manual for collaborators on mapping higher journalism education is created
• digital interactive application for mapping higher journalism education was created
• entering data in the map is in process
• special topic issue of scientific journal Media Research is in process  
• 10 journalistic articles (interviews) were published in cooperation with Croatian epublication H-Alter
• two focus groups about online study programme in Croatia were conducted and data collection on prospective students has begun
• the preliminary list of 505 publications published on Croatian by Croatian authors and publishers in the last 30 years found in the electronic repository of Croatian National and University Library Zagreb is created
• the preliminary alphabetical list of 460 films about media, journalism and journalists, including list of scores on film critic is created.

Finally, the expected tasks and results in the last project year (2023) were listed.
